A look at the last week on Instagram, focusing on Black and White images and black and white weddings, including black, white and silver or grey silk ribbons, and velvet bows. Some of my favorite images are of white ribbons tied on wedding invitations, on bouquets and much more.
One of my favorite parts of running this business, other than the actual creating, is seeing how my work is used. I love to look back on the last week worths of Instagram posts that I am tagged in. So I thought that I would share this last week with you here. Just take a look at this delphinium explosion! Wow, wow, wow is all I think every time I see it. While I have to admit that I haven't seen the musical Hamilton, I am of course aware of how many people absolutely love it. I am also a big fan of Lin-Manuel Miranda, his positivity and the way that he uses his platform to help others are inspiring. So, when my dear friend Meredith of Auburn and Ivory asked me to be a part of this Hamilton inspired shoot, I couldn't say no. I can't speak more highly of her vision and skills at styling and am lucky to also call her my friend. This beautiful styled shoot at the Franklin Park Conservatory, designed by Dalay Ket Event Design and shot by Leila Karaze Photography was recently featured on Artfully Wed. It included The Lesser Bear Winterberry Habotai and Crepe de Chine Cherry Blossom Ribbons, which went perfectly with the bridal bouquet.
I keep going back to this stunning shoot by Wandering Woo, Styled by Dalay Ket Events, and with creative partners: Trousseau Bridal, Jaden Esthetics, Miam Cakes and A Happy Designer.
Shot at sunset in Strongwater, this dramatic shoot flows from dreamy magic hour shots to super romantic candlelit scenes. It also incorporates our Ebony naturally dyed silk ribbon. There is simply so much to love.
