One of the wonderful parts of my job is that I get to work with great wedding planners and stylists. I just love to see how they use my naturally dyed ribbon, but also how they use the larger fabrics that I dye as well. I am constantly inspired by the creative ways that they use my fabrics to decorate ceremony backdrops and wedding receptions. Here are some of my favorites.
I have an obvious passion for flowers, and a super soft spot photos of men holding flowers. Honestly, most of the time, it is a groom holding a bouquet for the bride, but I would love to see at least one (if not both) of two grooms carry flowers. It might not be tradition, but there is no rule that men can't carry bouquets.
I grew up playing the game of Memory with cards of famous paintings, as my Mom had majored in Art History. After I got my degree in Jewelry Design, I got a Masters in Fine and Decorative Arts (Art History) and then went on to work at the auction house Sotheby's. So, it is no surprise that I jumped at the chance to work my dear friend Meredith from Auburn & Ivory Creative, on this Pre-Raphaelite Styled Wedding Shoot. Meredith packed this shoot fully of dreamily romantic details and rich textures.
